This lake has 8 Layers or 15 Layers for HD Version
Lake Ann is a 119-acre deep, clear lake in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota, reaching a maximum depth of 40 feet across 2 miles of shoreline and consistently meeting clean water standards set by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for over 40 years. The lake holds Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, and Yellow Perch, and serves as a headwater lake for Riley Creek, which flows downstream through Lake Lucy and onward to the Minnesota River. Among the lake's most notable neighbors was Prince, who owned significant acreage along the western shoreline until his passing in 2016.
Located in Chanhassen near the communities of Excelsior and Shorewood, Lake Ann sits in one of the most sought-after lake corridors in the Twin Cities southwest metro. Lake Ann Park on the south shore — Chanhassen's first city park, developed in the 1970s — offers a swimming beach, boat launch, picnic areas, trails, and a canoe rack, making the lake a beloved community gathering place just minutes from the greater Lake Minnetonka area.
A laser-cut wooden map of Lake Ann makes a beautiful and meaningful piece of wall art for any Chanhassen lake home, Carver County cabin, or Twin Cities retreat. The natural wood top layer traces every curve of this clean, deep lake's 2-mile shoreline in fine detail, while the light-to-dark blue gradient layers capture its impressive clarity and 40-foot depth. A handcrafted gift perfectly suited for Lake Ann homeowners, Chanhassen locals, and anyone with cherished memories on this beloved southwest metro gem.

The difference between standard and HD maps is the number of layers. Standard maps have 1 land layer and 7 water layers. The HD lake maps have 1 land layer and 14 water layers. So twice the detail. The HD Maps are limited to Extra Large, XX Large, and Gigantic sizes only. On the smaller sizes the depth change of the wood is too extreme and you end up losing detail.
