Little Comfort Lake in Chisago County, Minnesota
This lake has 8 Layers or 15 Layers for HD Version
Little Comfort Lake is a 37-acre lake in southwestern Chisago County, just east of the city of Wyoming, reaching a surprisingly impressive maximum depth of 56 feet for its compact size. The lake holds Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Walleye, and a diverse mix of panfish, with its fishery naturally replenished through a direct channel connection to neighboring Big Comfort Lake. With no public boat access, Little Comfort Lake offers a quiet, private character rarely found in the Twin Cities metro's northern lake country.
Located minutes from Wyoming, Chisago City, and Forest Lake in the southwestern corner of Chisago County, Little Comfort Lake sits within the Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District — a region of rolling farmland, wetlands, and small glacial lakes nestled between the Twin Cities metro and the broader Chisago Lakes area. The charming Chisago Lakes region is known for its Swedish heritage, scenic lakeshores, and easy access from the Twin Cities via Interstate 35.
A laser-cut wooden map of Little Comfort Lake makes a wonderfully personal piece of wall art for any Chisago County lake home, cabin, or Twin Cities area retreat. The natural wood top layer traces the intimate 1-mile shoreline of this surprisingly deep little lake in fine detail, while the light-to-dark blue gradient layers beautifully capture its remarkable 56-foot depth. A handcrafted gift perfectly suited for Little Comfort Lake homeowners and anyone with deep roots on this quiet, private Minnesota gem.

The difference between standard and HD maps is the number of layers. Standard maps have 1 land layer and 7 water layers. The HD lake maps have 1 land layer and 14 water layers. So twice the detail. The HD Maps are limited to Extra Large, XX Large, and Gigantic sizes only. On the smaller sizes the depth change of the wood is too extreme and you end up losing detail.
