The Strike King KVD Squarebill 1.0 Crankbait is a compact shallow-water crankbait designed to deliver maximum action in tight, pressured environments where bass are holding shallow and feeding aggressively. Designed with input from legendary angler Kevin VanDam, this bait features a square bill that allows it to deflect off cover and produce a wandering, hunting action that triggers reaction strikes.

Despite its small size, the KVD 1.0 produces a tight wobble combined with an erratic side-to-side movement that imitates baitfish and crawfish in shallow water. Its silent design helps it excel in heavily pressured fisheries where subtle presentations outperform louder baits.

This is a go-to crankbait when fish are tight to cover, feeding shallow, or when downsizing is the key to getting more bites.
