Give yourself another option for catching panfish with live Wax Worms! These soft-bodied insect larvae are a popular choice for ice fishing and open-water fishing, offering a compact, natural bait that works especially well when targeting bluegill, crappie, perch, and other panfish.
Wax worms are easy to fish and pair perfectly with small ice-fishing jigs, tiny hooks, and finesse presentations. Hook one individually for a subtle offering or use multiple wax worms when you want to create a larger bait profile. They’re a great option when fish are feeding on small prey or responding better to a smaller presentation.
Whether you're heading out onto the ice or fishing your favorite local lake during the warmer months, wax worms deserve a place in your live-bait lineup. Stop by Tom’s Bait & Tackle to stock up before your next trip!
